Corporate Taxpayers: In 2011, the IRS plans to discontinue the use of Form 8109, a paper coupon that was used for the payment of various corporate tax liabilities through a depository bank. If you currently use these paper coupons to pay any corporate tax liabilities (income, payroll, etc.), you will need to arrange an electronic payment system, either by telephone or through the internet via EFTPS (electronic federal tax payment system). Please contact our office for assistance with this transition. |

Alert: the federal estate tax (and generation skipping transfer (“GST”) taxes imposed on gifts which “skip” more than one generation) has been repealed effective January 1, 2010.
